Welcome! My name is Sara Beaman, and I'm a bellydance teacher and performance artist based in the Triangle area of North Carolina (otherwise known as Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill).

You might have seen me perform at The Station in Carrboro, Oliver Twist Lounge in Raleigh, Xios Restaurant in Apex, the Local 506 in Chapel Hill, at local festivals such as SparkCon and Carrboro Music Festival, or any number of regional bellydance events. You might have also seen me on my Youtube channel. I have been performing professionally in and around the Triangle since 2002.

I am an enthusiastic fan of all styles of bellydance (well, all styles of dance, really!). I primarily perform Tribal Group Improv and fusion bellydance. If you're curious about the differences between Tribal, Fusion, and other styles, you can read this mini-article I wrote or visit some of these websites.

I teach classes at various locations throughout the Triangle, and I perform locally and throughout the Southeast. I am currently a member of Blue Moon Dance Company, The Devoted: A Bellydance Collective, and Sparkle Oasis.
