Saturday, November 8 - Rising Sun Tribe hosts Blue Moon Dance Co. for a Tribal Seminar in Morganton, NC
Mountain View Rec. Center, 645 First St. Center, Morganton, NC 28655

10:30AM - 12:30PM: Tribal Bellydance Combinations - Whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned veteran of tribal style belly dance, this workshop will be a perfect opportunity to experience the grace, beauty and power of this dance genre. Several dynamic and fun short moves and combinations will be taught, along with the cues and transitional moves necessary to put them together seamlessly either in improvisation or choreography. Suitable for all levels.

1:30PM - 4:30PM: Blue Moon Dance Company Signature Choreography - Blue Moon is known for their elegant yet lively choreographies, and this workshop will be no exception! It will feature an original choreography that showcases the best of tribal dance, and will incorporate several of the combinations that will be taught in the morning workshop. Just bring yourself and your sense of fun- this will be on jam-packed 3 hours! Suitable for all levels.

7:30PM - 9:00PM: Benefit Bellydance Show featuring Blue Moon, Rising Sun Tribe and other performers!

Cost: Morning Workshop - $30, Afternoon Workshop - $40, Show Ticket - $5

Saturday, November 22 - Blue Moon Dance Co. Props Choreography Workshop
All proceeds from this workshop will be donated to the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina. The Solution Center, Brighton Hall, 1101 Slater Road, Durham ~ click for directions
Doors open for registration at 12PM - Workshop runs from 12:30-4:00 PM

Have a prop that you have been dying to put to good use? Want to expand your choreography repertoire with something new and exciting? Then this is the workshop for you! Bring your own prop; a very limited number of props will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Props can include swords, pots, baskets, bowls, pitchers- if you can balance it, you can use it! Space for this workshop will be limited so don't delay in sending in your registration if you are interested in attending. We will no longer accept any registrations once we have reached capacity. Suitable for all levels. Bring water. Ages 14 and up.
All workshop attendees are invited to perform this choreography at that evening's benefit show!

Fee: $35. No refunds unless event is cancelled.

Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14 - The Devoted Dance Collective presents a weekend of workshops with Lisa Zahiya and SamiTe of Asheville, NC

The Devoted is proud to present this weekend of fabulous workshops with the grand prize and first runner-up winners of the "Bellydancer of the Universe" competition in the Tribal Fusion category.
Saturday's workshop topics include Hip Hop Fusion with Lisa Zahiya and Direction, Dimension and Dynamics with SamiTe. On Sunday both teachers will combine efforts to present a master class aimed at more advanced students and professional dancers.
